Trend Report: Tangerine Dresses

I know that it is still January. The days are still short. The air is mighty nippy. AND, there is snow on the ground (well, at least for us folk in the north). However, it’s never too soon to begin working on your spring wardrobe, or at least taking note of what will be key trends.

The runways for the upcoming 2012 spring season were littered with a muted colour palette. Think neutrals like grey, brown, taupe, and beige, combined with pastels like mint green, bubble gum pink, and baby blue. The one pop of colour that was consistent throughout?? Tangerine orange. We’re seeing this beautiful bright featured particularly as the colour of dresses.

I’m in absolute lust with the bold colour. Orange is not something I have much of in my wardrobe, but I’m finding it super fun for this season.
